We are proud to offer fine art prints as part of our services. All our printing is done in-house on either of our large format Epson printers, the 7600 and the 9600. Both produce archival quality precision prints using authentic Epson inks, meeting the high standard set by galleries and discriminating art collectors. The 7600 prints up to 24 inches wide, the 9600 up to 44 inches wide. Both printers accommodate roll paper, which allows for panoramic length. Call or e-mail us today to request a quote on prints.
Each artist who has work photographed at Fine Art Friday also gets the added benefit of selling prints of their images through our site. After your work has been photographed, the images are displayed on our site in your personal gallery. Art collectors and interested buyers can check out your link to buy prints directly! We take care of the printing on our Epson inkjets, using genuine Epson archival inks and Hahnemule fine art paper. We'll even ship the print directly to the buyer. You sit back and collect (50%) of all the profits, we'll do all the legwork. It's the best way to get the extra mile out of your images.
Print sizes and pricing
We sell artists prints in three sizes. You pick the three sizes at your discretion. They must be in whole numbers, in inches, and proportional to the size of your image. Please let us know what your paper sizes will be when you register on our site to sell prints.
Keep in minds that:
- Two (2) inches are added to each dimension to allow a one (1) inch border for framing. For example, if your image is 10x14, it will be printed on 12x16 paper. Submit the paper size that you want (12x16), not the image area size (10x14).
- The sale price of each print is calculated by the following formula (0.47)(paper size in square inches)=price
- You may want to use this formula to calculate the final price; it helps you figure out what three sizes to pick
- About 30% of the sale price is dedicated to the materials that go into making the print, primarily ink and paper. The other 70% is profit, which will be split 50-50 among the artist and Fine Art Friday. You can use these facts to estimate your final profits from each sale.
- We sell prints in open editions, meaning that there is no limit to the number that are printed.
